Jake Tesch

Thanks to his parent’s encouragement, Jake has always been involved in music, and although they twisted his arm at first, it soon grew to be one of his great passions. He grew up singing in many different settings; namely community choirs, church, and high school choirs/musicals.
Perhaps his greatest memories with music came when he was a missionary for
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Tacoma, Washington. He had the privilege of being in a ward with five other talented missionaries. After every dinner appointment, they would leave with a spiritual message and a sacred hymn. Time and time again, the power of music brought the spirit of the Lord into people’s hearts and homes. It was definitely a humbling and special experience for him.

Shortly after his mission, Jake married Amanda Adams. They too have enjoyed singing together for many different occasions. They have a young boy named Davis who is the joy of their lives.

In 2005, Jake and his older brother Jason joined an a cappella group called Tongue Tied. Jake has had many memorable experiences performing with this fun group over the past couple of years, especially the friendships that he has made with the guys.
Jake is very excited to be a part of this new and improved group, VOCALOCITY!
